Doctor charged with manslaughter
A former Health Services Authority doctor is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, 26 Aug., charged with manslaughter.
The man was arrested in September last year, on suspicion of manslaughter by reason of gross negligence in relation to an incident that occurred on 21 Jan., 2024.
The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service issued a statement on Friday, saying the man, who police did not name, had now been formally charged and would appear in Summary Court Tuesday. For a more complete summary of the story, please see the below link:
