Surgeon denies manslaughter; trial set for May 2026

Former Health Services Authority surgeon Dr. Paul Anthony Taiganides will appear before the Grand Court to be tried for manslaughter next May.

Taiganides, 61, is accused of being responsible for the death of 29-year-old Travis Alexander Ebanks, who had been taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital after suffering gunshot wounds on 21 Jan. last year.
