Langevin departs as Ritz-Carlton GM
Marc Langevin, who was on the opening team of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman in 2005 and returned as the general manager of Cayman’s then only five-star resort in June 2011, left the company on Monday, 13 Oct.
His departure occurs amid reports of a probe into an alleged long-term fraud involving a substantial amount of money occurring in the resort’s purchasing department. A source with knowledge of the situation said a third-party supplier in the food and beverage industry is also involved in the alleged fraud.
