A lifetime love of journalism
I’ve always loved working in newspapers. Even as a child, when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say a newspaper journalist.
This perhaps grew from watching my dad and uncles sitting around the kitchen table, reading sections of the paper, discussing the stories they’d read, with curiosity, outrage or pity, depending on the subject matter.
The combination of storytelling, news gathering and information dissemination is, for me, what makes this work so satisfying, and there’s rarely a shortage of news to share in Cayman. For a more complete summary of the story, please see the below link:
