Cayman Motoring bringing STEM F1 racing programme to Brac
The Cayman Motoring Federation plans to launch a STEM Racing Programme in Cayman Brac, which will enable students to build and race their own miniature F1-style cars.
The initiative, at the Layman E. Scott Sr. High School, will provide the school with its very own racing rollout 20-metre track, a CNC MCR 100 machine which will be used to design the models, and a complete set of components, like blocks, axles and wheels.
The federation says the equipment will mean students can design and build the miniature cars and participate in the internationally recognised STEM education programme. For a more complete summary of the story, please see the below link:
