Cayman’s maritime safety and security enhanced through multi-agency training
The Cayman Islands Maritime Administration successfully completed the training for use of the Long-Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) system that provides global identification and tracking of ships to enhance maritime security, improve search and rescue operations and promote marine environment protection.
