Police investigating armed robbery in George Town
Officers responded to a robbery at the Western Union in the Small Deals Outlet, in George Town, on Friday afternoon.
Two masked men entered the store on Main Street just after 1:50pm – with one carrying what appeared to be a firearm – and demanded cash.
The press statement said the pair attempted to gain entry to an employee area but were unsuccessful. They then stole cash from a customer before fleeing on foot. For a more complete summary of the story, please see the below link:
